Dr. Andrew Reicherter

Dr.Andrew Reicherter grew up in Long Island, New York. He received a BS in Biology and Animal Science from Rutgers University before going on to veterinary school. Dr. Reicherter graduated from the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. Following Veterinary School he completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine/Surgery at the Red Bank Veterinary Hospital Network where he continued to work as an emergency and general practice Veterinarian.

Throughout his training, Dr. Reicherter had been involved heavily in community medicine. Through his years at Tufts, he had been heavily involved in the on-campus community becoming the president of both the student body and the on-campus academic fraternity of Alpha Psi. He had also earned several distinguishments such as induction into the Honos Civicus community for his work in both shelter and community medicine and the Westminster Kennel Foundation Annual Scholarship for both academic and extracurricular excellence.

Dr. Reicherter continues to serve his community by providing careful and compassionate care for every patient. He splits his free time between his hometown on eastern long island and a residence in Jersey City.
